Hello world!

Wow, my first blog.  I gotta say this is pretty cool, and it is the start of an awesome journey for me.  A journey of a thousand miles, such as this, begins with a single step.  I must give credit to some of my favorite teachers along this path of contemplation, meditation, and redemption.  From reading the likes of Dr Wayne Dyer, Eckhart Tolle, Alan Watts, and Carl Jung I have returned to a place like no other in my 38 years on this beautiful planet.  A place of infinite possibilities and never ending abundance, so filled with peace and joy, that I can hardly contain my excitement about a future, which at one point seemed as dark as the night sky.  Within this blog and my future ones, you will not learn how to cook brownies or fly a kite, all admirable hobbies, but rather I will share with you the steps I have taken in becoming one with all there is.  When I say ‘ spirituality’ I must stress the point that, in my humble opinion, no organized religion in the world can pin this concept down and call it their own.  I respect everyone’s right to worship in any way they see fit.  All religions give a strong foundation on which to focus, but any group or set of rules that shuns another and is willing to kill and mame in the name of GOD, is no religion at all.  You see, we are all dreaming a dream this reality is rock solid in our perception of it.  As you begin to awaken from this dream that you have been conditioned to believe as the truth, there are literally no limits.  The absolute greatest way to this redemptive power is through meditation.  With intention and attention you can attract into your life ANYTHING that you want.  You will know the meaning of Jesus’ words, ” The keys to the kingdom of Heaven lie within.” Those of you non-christians bear with me, I love to quote from many different spiritual masters, non more important than another.  These masters all lived at a level of consciousness that I can only dream of attaing in my life time.   As you progress down this path, a spendid and glorious universe will begin to unfold within your very skin.  Have you never asked yourself, ” Why am I here, Where did I come from, and What am I supposed to be doing.”  Are we really here to purchase the newest hottest pair of nike sneakers, or save every last dollar to grab the brilliant new ‘ louie ‘ bag?  Did you ever notice that after a few days or weeks that new ‘thing’ you obsessed over and had to have kind of just fades into the backround as the next one pops up.  This endless cycle is in place to keep your eyes off the big prize, in seeing the big picture!  Let me reassure you, that once you get a glimpse of the BIG PICTURE, that door never closes!!  NEVER…and it contains a bliss that is so real and so full of energy that it can inspire you to limits you never knew you could reach.  I would like to end my first blog with a quote from a master named Patanguli.  This quote was one of the first I had ever come across on my journey, and it went right up on the fridge without any hesitation.     “When you are inspired by some great purpose, all of your thoughts break their bonds, your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new and great and wonderful world.  Dormant forces, faculties and talents come alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.”  Namaste  God Bless
